Call for application is open for the second edition of the Erasmus Intensive Programme on Diversity Managment which will take place in Kaunas, Lithuania, from July 10th to July 23rd, 2012.

The course is designed for 35 students and 15 teachers coming from 5 different European universities.

Call for application is open for the second edition of the Erasmus Intensive Programme on Diversity Managment which will take place in Kaunas, Lithuania, from July 10th to July 23rd, 2012.

The course is designed for 35 students and 15 teachers coming from 5 different European universities.

The overall aim of the course is to explore the subject of diversity; the specific objectives will be as follows

  • presenting the participants some relevant topics and theory related to the regulation and management of diversity and to the prevention, management and/or resolution of crises and conflicts;
  • developing perceptions and the analytical skills of the participants;
  • training the participants with methods and techniques for the management of diversity and for the prevention, management and/or resolution of conflict.

The main subjects of the course are:

  • Political Theory and Ideologies,
  • History,
  • Comparative Government,
  • Legal Instruments,
  • New Minoritys,
  • International Relations,
  • Economics of Cultural Diversity,
  • Regional Developement Policy.

ECTS: 6. The Intensive Programme is co-financed by the European Commission in the framework of the LLP Programme, Erasmus Intensive Programmes (IP).

Working language: English

Participants: Students enrolled in MA/PhD programmes of the University of Bologna and partner Universities of Ljubljana, Kaunas, Budapest and Graz, in the fields of Political Science, International Relations, Humanities, Business and Law.

Places are still available for students enrolled at the Universities of Ljubljana, Kaunas, Budapest and Graz!

PECOB's call for papers

The Scientific Board of PECOB announces an open call for papers to be published with ISSN 2038-632X

Interested contributors may deal with any topic focusing on the political, economic, historical, social or cultural aspects of a specific country or region covered by PECOB.

Potential contributors must submit a short abstract (200-300 words) and the full text, which can be in English as well as any language from the countries covered by PECOB.

Upcoming deadlines for submitting proposals are:

January 31st, 2012
June 30th, 2012
November 30th, 2012

All texts must comply with PECOB Submission Guidelines (www.pecob.eu).
