FIRST CALL FOR PAPERS

Dear Colleague,

On behalf of the Organizing Committee of the International Conference „Regional cooperation in Europe: opportunity for the Balkans“, we would like to invite you to be the participant at the conference, which will take place from 21st to 23rd September 2011 in Dubrovnik.

The Conference is organized by the Academy of Sciences and Arts of Bosnia and Herzegovina (ANUBiH), Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts (HAZU), London School of Economics LSE London, University of Bologna, within the Academic programme 2010/2011 of the Inter University Center (IUC), Dubrovnik.

The programme will mainly consist of the invited lectures, your papers and discussions, which will be given by distinguished experts in the field, including members of several academies of sciences and arts from different European countries. Your presence would be an impressive contribution to the recognition and development of economic and regional science in SEE, particularly in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia.

CONFERENCE AIMS AND SCOPE

The main conference topic is „Regional Cooperation in Europe: Opportunity for the Balkans“. This topic sublimes and reflects European and regional principles and concepts related to the significance of regional cooperation in the EU accession process. The Conference is opened to all the issues of regional science, regional development theory and policy, cooperation, cohesion, institutions, financing, integration, and education.

CALL FOR PAPERS

PECOB's call for papers

The Scientific Board of PECOB announces an open call for papers to be published with ISSN 2038-632X

Interested contributors may deal with any topic focusing on the political, economic, historical, social or cultural aspects of a specific country or region covered by PECOB.

Potential contributors must submit a short abstract (200-300 words) and the full text, which can be in English as well as any language from the countries covered by PECOB.

Upcoming deadlines for submitting proposals are:

January 31st, 2012
June 30th, 2012
November 30th, 2012
